KAMPLIKOPPA
At 4.30pm we have gone to the village called Kamplikoppa for practical study of PRA. The people of that village were very cooperative and they were waiting for us. We have been divided into 4 groups with all villagers and started PRA study. Such as Focus Group Discussion (Dairy-milk production), Matrix ranking (Compost), Seasonality Map, Venn Diagram (Accessibility of facilities), and Resource mapping.
INAAM VEERAPUR
Next day morning with instructions and PRA lessons we went to our respective villages in different groups for different villages at 8.15am. We went to the village called by name Inaam Veerapur with our footsteps, which is famous two wheeler, long run mileage and zero maintenance. Even though there were three stops in between but we have arrived at 10.10am. We met Mr.Shetteppa Navi, who is a Sustainable Agriculture Promoter of AME foundation and other members of Basaveshwar Susthir Krishi Sangha have welcome with pleasing manner and offered tea for us.
TRANSECT WALK
Other groups went to their respective villages from our village. Members of BSK sangha have introduced about types of compost for land like Nadaap Compost and vermi compost, Azolla farming as food for animals. Then we went to School, where we met Anganwadi and School Teacher, got some primary data. We have visited who are benefitting from compost and azolla training under AME foundation. We met other houses but they said they are comfort with their earnings by cultivation and whatever they have they are satisfied. They are tired from government planning and schemes.
